Massimo Verrone


I was born in Como. I began my career as a textile designer but then, after 7 years,
I started my new career as an Art Director. 
In 1999, I joined my first Advertising Agency, Publicis. In 2001 I moved to Lowe Pirella 
where I followed the agency’s largest clients such as Gruppo L’Espresso, Arena, Muller, 
Aprilia, Zucchi and Maserati. 
After five years (2006) I started working at Leagas Delaney, following clients such as Saab, Telecom, MTV and Brioschi.
In September 2008 I joined 1861united as Senior Art Director working on Vodafone, Sky,
RTL 102.5 and Goldenlady Group. For two years, I was responsible for the Goldenlady Group,
the most famous Italian brand of lingerie, following and managing shoots around the world,
such a remarkable experience as a creative in the fashion industry.
In 2011, I became Deputy Creative Director, coordinating the Vodafone brand.
Since May 2012, I have been Creative Director following Sky, our agency’s most important client.
From April 2014 after the merger of 1861united and Grey 
I became Associate Creative Director of GreyUnited.

Between campaigns I still find time to honor my past as a national champion of Italian Bowls.
In August 2008 I founded the brand “keep-the-light-on”. In this I live out my passion for graphic design, producing pieces called lightboxes. 

From March 2013 I have been collaborating as a teacher at IED, Istituto Europeo di Design.
Since May 2016 I became Advertising Communication Courses Coordinator at IED.
