Biografia
After a degree in Public Relation and Advertising, with a thesis on the power of understatement and a diploma in copywriting at the Accademia di Comunicazione, Nico begins his career in 2011 as a copywriter in Now Available (later The Big Now/McGarry Bowen), one of the first media-neutral agencies in Milan.
Three years later, and after six months of soul-searching around the world, he returns to Italy, where he meets his partner in crime, art director Luca Riva. The duo joins DUDE shortly after the agency launched its advertising division and helps acquire high-profile accounts such as Napapijri, Mediaset Premium, Heinz, AC Milan, Netflix, and Spotify.
In the first three years together, Luca&Nico win twice the Italian 'Cannes Young Lions' Competition as well as many pitches and national awards, leading Nico to be selected as one of the 'ADCE High Potentials 2017'.
In 2018, the Netflix campaign for the launch of Black Mirror (Black Future Social Club) earns the duo numerous awards, including the first Cannes Lions.
In 2020, after six years, dozens of awards, and a promotion to Creative Director, Nico starts a new adventure in C41, a creative collective based in Milan, Amsterdam, and Paris, with the ambition to break the boundaries of pure advertising.
The kid is still rocking. Right now, as Associate Creative Director at Publicis Italy // Le Pub (#1 Agency Worldwide in 2022 @ World Creative Rankings) where he's making global campaigns for Heineken.
